Movers And Transporter Duties and Responsibilities


Chicago Movers

Principle of bargain:
Moves office and dorm furniture and tackle.
Unique Characteristics:
This is first in a sequence of three classifications.
Examples of Duties:
•  Moves furnishings, appliances, and equipment.
•  Moves computers and electronic tools as directed.
•  Moves art substances and displays.
•  Sets-up and removes seating and tools for special events.
•  Distributes goods to and from retrieve, storage, surplus, and central receiving.
• Assembles and installs modular office fittings.
• May maintain vehicles and moving tools.
• May function forklift.
• May function various snow removal equipment and shovel snow and ice from elected areas.
• May assist in grounds preservation/construction operations.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Awareness of moving techniques.
• Proficiency in the use of moving techniques.
Minimum Credentials:
One year of moving knowledge; OR, Any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which analogous knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved. Control of current Arizona Type D driver’s license is necessary upon employment.
